there are a lot of moments in spring that i don’t want to miss:
discovering a morel mushroom in the garden.
driving down robinson road when the leaves crawl all the way over the street and create a living canopy again.
the first day of farmer’s market, the hustle and the bustle all around even though there’s scarcely anything other than root vegetables and plants to be bought.
picking dandelions and finding a new use for them.
finding lilacs that i can pick buckets of, bringing them home to fill the house with short-lived but glorious bouquets.
it’s springtime.
don’t miss the golden moments.

Oh, so many, but my favorite is watching my peonies grow and bloom. I’m never happier than when I am picking peonies – either for our home, or bouquets to give away to friends! They smell heavenly.
